Clint Howard
Clint Howard is an award-winning, Arkansas-based pastel artist. He is a juried Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, and a member of the Arkansas Pastel Society and the Ozark Pastel Society.
Clint has a varied background, including a degree in biology, nearly eight years of service as a pastor, and over fifteen years in the web and graphic design industry. Today, Clint manages a team of designers, developers, project managers, and support technicians for a marketing firm. But, as with most artists, his love of art, especially drawing, began when he was a child, and has stuck with him. He married his beautiful wife, Sara, in 2002, and they have two daughters.
Clint's focus in his art is to evoke a sense of calm, nostalgia, and connection to nature. His landscapes have earned a number of awards and accolades, including multiple Honorable Mentions in the Pastel 100, a second place finish and an honorable mention in the Dakota Pastels Grand Final, and featured new artist in the 2023 IAPS 43rd Open Division post-show review.
